It has been one SNP shambles after another recently, but this mess will take years to clean up. Without action this will deliver a decade of injustice in Scotland as the worst-off communities are left paying the price. My comment for The Guardian. You can read it here.
This winter too many Scots are facing fuel poverty as energy prices spiral out of control. Fuel poor households need action. So Scottish Labour Party is calling for the expansion of Winter Fuel Payment to support those most in need. You can read the Edinburgh Reporter’s article on fuel poverty and my comment here.

If the SNP Gov never approved funding for the relocation of the eye hospital, why was a construction company selected to develop the project in January 2018? £1 Million of taxpayers money was spent on an outline proposal …
Check out my interview @ The Edinburgh Reporter. The SNP Government needs to reverse its withdrawal of funding for the replacement of the Eye Pavilion. We need to retain accessible services for people whether for planned or emergency treatment across the region, we will not accept this downgrading & loss of vital eye services.
